Who we are
Proof is a booking, gallery, and client-management platform for photography studios and photographers. Proof is operated by Steele Blue, a sole proprietor based in New Mexico, USA.
Questions about your data, or a request to see, correct, or delete it, go to privacy@studioproof.co.
What we collect
Booking a session: your name, email, phone, and session details — so your photographer knows who's coming and how to reach you.
Joining the early-access list: your name and email, used for launch news only.
Using Proof as a photographer or studio: your account details, your galleries and bookings, and the client contact information you enter into your own book.
Payments: when a card is used, it's handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers — only a card brand and last four digits, and Stripe's reference IDs.
We don't run third-party ad trackers, and we don't use analytics that follow you around the internet.
What we do with it
Run the service: deliver galleries to the clients you share them with, put bookings on calendars, take payments, and send the emails you'd expect (confirmations, invoices, login details, and launch news you asked for).
Nothing else. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information or your clients' information — to anyone, ever.
Who helps us run Proof
We rely on a small set of reputable providers, and share only what each needs to do its job: Stripe (payments), Resend (sending email), Supabase (our database), and Cloudflare (hosting and private photo storage).
Each is bound by its own security and privacy commitments. We don't add anyone to this list who'd use your data for their own advertising.
Your galleries stay private
Client galleries live in private storage — no public bucket, no guessable links. Access runs through PIN-protected pages or time-limited signed URLs. A gallery is only public if its owner explicitly publishes it.
Photographers' client lists are visible only to that photographer and their studio's administration — never to other users or other studios.
Cookies
We use only the cookie needed to keep you signed in — a session cookie for the photographer portal and admin. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking. Because of that, Proof doesn't need a cookie-consent banner.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and we'll respond within a reasonable time. Just email privacy@studioproof.co.
We don't sell personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of there. California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA; we extend the same rights to everyone.
If you're a studio using Proof, the personal data of your own clients belongs to you — we process it on your behalf, and we'll help you export or remove it whenever you ask.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
We keep your data while your account is active and as long as we need it to run the service. Ask us to delete a booking record, an early-access signup, or your whole account — email privacy@studioproof.co or ask through the portal — and we'll remove it.
Account deletion keeps your galleries downloadable for 30 days first, so you can export everything. We may keep the minimum records we're legally required to (for example, payment and tax records).
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, we'll update the date below. For anything privacy-related, reach us at privacy@studioproof.co. Proof is governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico — see our Terms.
