Best Pixieset alternatives in 2026
By the Proof team, at The Flash House in Las Cruces.
Pixieset is a good product. The galleries are clean, there is a free plan, and there is a print store. That is why so many photographers start there. People usually go looking for something else for one of three reasons.
- The price creeps up. Client Gallery plans run $8 to $40 a month when billed annually, and $10 to $50 if you pay month to month. Booking and the studio manager sit in the Suite, at $28 to $55 a month billed annually.
- The tools are separate products under one login: galleries, a website, a studio manager, and a store.
- You want a client to book a slot and pay to hold it, then get the gallery and the invoice in the same place.
Here is an honest look at the main options, and who each one fits. Competitor prices were checked in October 2026. Confirm them on each vendor's site before you switch. Proof's prices are the ones on our pricing page.

Pic-Time
Best for wedding and family photographers who sell prints and albums.
The galleries are polished, and the automated print campaigns are the real strength. It is not a full CRM. Most people pair it with HoneyBook, Dubsado, or Studio Ninja for booking and contracts.
Skip it if you want one tool for the whole business.
ShootProof
Best for school, sports, and high volume session photographers. Plans run about $15 to $48 a month.
Lab integrations and proofing tools are some of the strongest around. Contracts and invoices are in the product. Online booking is a paid extra.
Skip it if you mostly deliver digital files and want a calmer client experience.
CloudSpot
Best for photographers whose clients view galleries on their phones.
The galleries are built for mobile, and studio management tools are bundled into the plans. There is a free tier.
Skip it if you rely on a large print lab catalog.
Pixpa
Best for photographers who also need a portfolio website and want a low price. Plans start at about $4.80 a month.
One subscription covers a website, client galleries, a store, and a blog, with 0% commission.
Skip it if you need a real booking calendar and a client CRM.
Sprout Studio
Best for established studios that want CRM and galleries together and will spend time on setup. Plans run about $19 to $69 a month.
It is one of the few tools that really combines leads, contracts, invoices, galleries, and sales. It is powerful, and there is more to learn. How Proof compares.
Proof
Best for solo photographers and small studios who want booking, retainers, galleries, and payments in one place, without a long setup.
Full disclosure: we make Proof. It was built at The Flash House, a working studio in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and our own roster runs on it every day. Here is what it does today.
- A booking page tied to your live calendar. Clients pick an open studio or on location slot. It is checked for clashes, so a slot only sells once.
- Retainers to hold the date. The payment goes to your own Stripe account. Proof takes 0% of retainers, photo sales, and invoices. Only Stripe's standard processing fee applies.
- Branded client galleries. Each one opens on a cover photo, is protected with a PIN, and includes full resolution downloads, favorites, and opened receipts.
- Paid photo unlocks. You set how many photos are included and the price of each extra. Clients pay to unlock more.
- A client CRM that fills itself. Every booking and invoice creates or updates the profile.
- Invoicing. One invoice at a time, with tax if you set a rate. A saved card and a monthly plan live on the client profile once Stripe is connected.
- Contracts clients sign online. They get a signed PDF. Included on Solo and up.
- Studio and team tools: a studio page, room booking, a shared calendar, and production per photographer.
What Proof does not do yet: RAW uploads, a self serve bulk import, print lab fulfillment, and a native mobile app. Questionnaires are not in the product either. If print sales are a big part of your income, Pic-Time or ShootProof will serve you better today.
