What does Proof actually do today?+
The work our own roster runs on. A booking page on your live calendar, retainers into your Stripe account, PIN protected galleries with a cover photo and full resolution downloads, paid photo unlocks, video hosting on Pro, Unlimited, and Teams, invoicing with tax and a reminder if it sits unpaid, cards on file with a monthly or yearly plan, contracts clients sign in the browser, a client book that fills itself, mini session days, studio and team calendars, help videos in the portal, and a guide for putting Proof on the site you already have.
How do payments work, and does Proof take a cut?+
No. Retainers, photo sales, and invoices are charges into your own Stripe account. You are the merchant, and Proof takes 0% of them. Only Stripe's standard processing fee applies. You connect Stripe once from account settings.
How does the founding price work?+
Founding members lock Pro, normally $33 a month, at $24 a month or $260 a year for as long as the subscription stays active. It is the first 25 accounts. When those spots are gone, they are gone, and your rate does not reset.
What are the storage rules, exactly?+
Free holds 3 active galleries and 5GB of originals. Pro holds unlimited galleries and 500GB, and adds video hosting. Clips stream in the gallery. Photos (JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC) upload at full resolution. RAW is still in development. On paid plans, storage past your limit is metered at $0.06 per GB, so you are not cut off in the middle of a shoot. The free plan holds a firm 5GB. Galleries do not expire or auto delete.
I run a studio with other photographers. Does Proof handle that?+
Yes. A studio gets its own public page, one shared calendar, a client book the team can see, production tracked per photographer, and billing by the seat. One person stays in charge of the money.
I'm switching from another tool. Can I bring my galleries and clients?+
Yes. During founding we help you move active galleries and your client list over. Send us what you have and we set it up with you. Self serve bulk import is not in the product yet.
What is live now, and what is still coming?+

What happens to my galleries if I cancel?+
You can export any gallery as a full resolution zip at any time, on every plan. Video downloads clip by clip. Cancel Pro and the account drops to the free plan. Nothing disappears. Leave entirely and galleries stay downloadable for 30 days first. Your work is not held hostage. It is in the terms.
